The most important 21st century skill that this project demanded was Informational skills. This is mostly because we had to do extensive research and organize it onto a google doc. After that we had to organize it further into a way that is visually and informatively pleasing. Next we had to present this to the class and we definitely had to use our communication skills to do that. This was mostly because we had to be at the front of the class and effectively present this project to a pretty large group of people. Both of those took some Communication skills and Interpersonal skills.
What were you most proud of in this assignment?
I think the thing I was most proud of with this assignment was just how clean and presentable this looked, and that made it fairly easy to present because most if not all of the information was on the storyboard.
How did you develop or improve upon your 21st century skills during this assignment?
I think I improved my Informational skills in this project the most because I first had to organize this in a way that I could understand, and then organize it in a way that the entire class can follow and effectively understand.
What was most difficult about completing this task?
The most difficult thing about completing this task was the place. We did get our new school by the time of presentations and we got ample time to work on it at home, but do to the move to another campus we didn't have much in class time for the majority of this project.
How would you improve your work if you could start over?
If I could start over I would change my work first and foremost by not procrastinating so much and get my work done sooner rather than later. I would also want to look up the meaning and symbolism behind the flag.
How dose this relate to what you have learned in the past?
This relates to almost every solo presentation that I had to do. Project such as these have taught me to do things like organize my information on a Google Doc before I put it into the presentation.
How can you apply this to future learning?
I can apply this to future learning by budgeting my time more wisely and use those informational skills and communication skills on my next presentation.
