A Most Dangerous Game Brochure
In this particular assignment we got to choose between creating a brochure and sails pitch, making a map of the island, wright an essay, or create a short play. Me and one other student chose to do the brochure and sails pitch. We had to do most of the work at home and on a computer, which meant the most prominent of my 21st century skills was my self directional and technology literacy skills. I also managed to use my interpersonal skills while working with my partner.
I personally feel proud of this project because this marks the first project this year that I put a lot of time and effort into, and in my eyes it shows.
Seeing as how I didn't even know how to design and print out a brochure with programs provided by google drive, because of this I can firmly say that I improved upon my technology literacy. I also had to somehow keep myself from procrastinating for once, so I also made some progress on my self directional skills.
Personally, I'm kind of an introvert and because of this I usually rather work alone. I did, however decide to work on this particular project with a partner. A lot of this project was also done at home and we didn't exactly communicate about what each of us were suppose to do. This ultimately lead to me haveing to do most of the work.
If I could start over and improve arias of my project, I would definitely work on communication with my partner so I could have an easier work load and spend more time working on other projects. I also would want to be a little less nervous presenting it so the sails pitch would be cheesier.
This kind of applies to every generic presentation that I had to do in the past in which I prepared something like a slide show or storyboard and got up in front of the class to present it.
I can probably apply this to the future times I have to work with other people or present a project in front of a class. Being comfortable with public speech will also help me with things like my Grad Defense for my senior year of High school.
